Aqua Yoga for pregnancy gives women the opportunity to enjoy freedom of movement supported
and protected in the water environment, regardless of whether or not they can swim.
Flexibility and mobility are increased and women are able to feel more comfortable in their bodies. Yoga stretches in the
water promote overall health for mother and baby. Breathing is expanded and circulation improves. Movements practised
in the last few weeks of pregnancy will encourage the baby into a favourable position for birth.
Each class lasts 45 minutes and includes:
Standing postures
Swimming and floating with buoyancy aids
Gentle diving and glides
Relaxation
Breathing in preparation for birth.
Post Natal Yoga is the reverse
of pregnancy yoga. As opposed to preparing to 'open' your body, these classes are designed to 'close' the
body and promote healing. They are suitable for Non Swimmers.
Each
class last 45 minutes and includes:
Re-alignment of the spine
Tone and Strengthen the abdominal muscles
Regain full tone of the pelvic floor muscles.
Involve and bond with your baby
